Frequently Asked Questions

How old do kids have to be to start preschool?
Most preschools start accepting kids around age 2½ to 3 years old, depending on the child’s development and potty training status. Some places offer early preschool options starting at age 2.
How do preschools help children get ready for kindergarten?
Preschools focus on early literacy, basic math concepts, social skills, and following routines—all important skills that help children transition smoothly to kindergarten.
How can I tell if a preschool program is good for my child?
Look for a program that offers a balance of play, learning, and social time. It should have qualified staff, a safe environment, and activities that encourage curiosity and growth.
How safe is it at infant and toddler care centers?
Safety usually means secure entrances, clean spaces, well-trained staff, and close supervision. Centers like ours follow strict safety rules to protect little ones every day.
What should I look for in a good infant program?
Look for small group sizes, consistent caregivers, a clean and safe environment, and routines that include plenty of holding, interaction, and language exposure. It’s also helpful to ask how they track developmental milestones.

The prepared environment is one of the key elements in a Montessori classroom. It is designed to welcome the children, encourage them to interact with the people and objects in the environment, and help them to develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. Our classroom environment provides opportunities for self-correction. The children learn from their own mistakes and improve their judgment while doing the activities that interest them the most.
